I am a former excessive sweater who used to have to avoid wearing dark clothing, and who worried constantly about body odor. After making it my quest to become an expert on the topic of sweat, I now know what it takes to stop excessive sweating without dangerous drugs or expensive surgery!

As a former excessive sweater, I used to worry constantly about body odor, I avoided dark clothing, and I found the problem itself to be an embarrassing one. The problem is that more and more of these guides are appearing on the market, and they aren't all what they're said to be. With that, let's first cover what a good stop sweating guide is and is not.

First, simply buying a stop sweating guide is NOT the only thing you will need to do stop excessive sweating permanently. You will also need to take the time to learn what the guide teaches and apply it to your own life.

Second, NOT everyone will need a stop sweating guide. If you only tend to sweat heavily when you exercise excessively then you're likely normal and won't need a guide to reduce sweat problems. On the other hand if your find that your shirt is wet at odd times of the day, then a good natural guide to control sweat problems will be needed.

Third, a guide to controlling sweat IS the best way to reduce excessive sweating. In fact, some report that with the right guide they were not only able to reduce the problem, but they stopped it completely in less that two weeks. A good guide will help you to stop sweating and start living again.

  • Stopped Excessive Sweating - Obviously our main criteria to evaluate each guide was: Did the guide actually help us to stop sweating?
  • Safety of Methods Suggested - Safety is an important factor in any natural health product. Higher ratings were given to those guides that only suggested safe methods to control sweat.
  • Avoided Excessive Diet Changes - Some guides suggest diet changes. Although this is necessary to a degree, we gave guides that suggested excessive diet changes much lower ratings (we like our food).
  • Worked Quickly to Stop Sweat - Higher ratings were given to those guides that helped us to control sweating within just a week or two.
  • Provided Support - Although our top five guides are clear enough that you likely won't need support, we did want to ensure that the sites that sold these guides would answer our emails when we had questions.
  • Value - Finally we rated each guide on cost/value. Higher ratings were given to those guides that cost less and actually worked.
  • Overall Rating - With each element above we combined our data to give each guide an overall rating.

With each evaluation we both read the guides as a group, and then had the guides themselves put to the test. The guides were each tested by 3-4 participants over a period of 1 month. After that period we shared our results to see which guides actually stopped sweating and which didn't.

The best guide that we could find to help control sweat problems is called (appropriately) Stop Sweating and Start Living. This was the best guide we could find to gain freedom from wet armpits and stained shirts forever.

The methods taught in Stop Sweating and Start Living won't require you to change your diet, or to make excessive changes to your lifestyle at all. Rather, the book teaches you how to take 30 seconds a day to stop armpit sweat completely, and for good.

Along with the main eBook, that focuses mostly on underarm sweat, Stop Sweating and Start living also includes another eBook that teaches simple methods to reduce sweating from your hands, feet, back, and other excessively sweaty areas. This makes this particular package the most complete stop sweating guide we could find.

2. Sweat Free Formula

In second place we have a guide called Sweat Free Formula. The focus of this guide is slightly different than our top pick in that it focuses on a natural herbal remedies to stop sweating. The methods taught are based on methods that have been used in Asia for years.

This guide was just as effective as our top pick in controlling sweating, and the methods taught worked almost as quickly. No major diet changes are required, and the guide does really work. There were two areas that put this one in second place.

First, the herbal approach - although safe for most - isn't necessarily safe for everyone. We also felt that the first guide on our list provided more value for the money than this guide does.

If you're looking for a herbal approach to control sweating, this is the guide you should choose. For most though, our top pick will be a better choice.

3. Control Your Sweating Naturally

The third guide to make our top five is called Control Your Sweating Naturally. This one performed quite well in our tests. It did work to stop excessive sweating, and the methods taught do work quickly.

There is one main area where this one failed and that is with safety/diet. The eBook suggests more diet changes than our top two, and since significant diet changes aren't safe for everyone this took away from our rating for safety.

The eBook was also less focused than our top two. It suggests a combination of the methods taught in our top two guides. With that though, the book didn't teach one method well, and instead teaches two methods but not as well as our top two picks did.

For most, our top two guides will be a better choice than this one.

4. Sweat Free in 14 Days

Taking 4th spot is a guide called Sweat Free in 14 Days. This one did perform okay in our tests, but our feeling was that it should be called Sweat Less in 14 days and not sweat free.

Again this eBook focuses on various methods to control sweating, and as such it is less focused than our top two guides were. The book suggests diet changes, some of the same ideas from our top pick, and even exercises to control sweating.

The ideas included in the book do work, but they worked to a lesser degree and not quite as quickly as the top guides did.

5. Stop Sweating Revealed

The last guide to make the cut for our top five is written by Blair Curtis and is called Stop Sweating Revealed. This guide suggests a mix of methods to control sweat problems and to a certain degree these methods work.

Where we felt this guide failed was with the suggested diet changes, and in not being focused enough on one method to really work.

In it's favor, this eBook comes with some supplemental material that very much makes it worth it's price. If your real goal is to stop sweating though, you'll be much better off with one of our top two guides.
